1. Who we are

WePlacement (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the public careers site at weplacement.com and the recruitment software used by agencies. The service is operated by More Yogesh Dharmraj, a proprietorship trading as Kokilian Signature (GSTIN 24EBRPM3109J2ZE). Our principal place of business is Ground Floor, 425, Sai Darshan Society, Royal Star Road, Near Om Fashion, Dindoli, Surat, Gujarat 394210, India. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data of candidates, recruitment agencies, employers, and visitors. It is written to meet the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), to the extent those laws apply to us.

2. Information we collect

Candidate data: name, email, phone number, city, work history, education, skills, compensation expectations, resumes, cover notes, and application records.
Agency and employer data: name, work email, phone number, company name, billing contact, job descriptions, and records of placements and invoices.
Account and sign-in data: email address, one-time sign-in codes, and, if you use Google, the profile details described below.
Payment data: subscription status, amount, and payment reference received from Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers or UPI PINs.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

3. Google sign-in

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive from Google the details needed to authenticate you, typically your name, email address, and a Google account identifier, and whether Google has verified that email. We use this only to create or match your WePlacement account and to keep you signed in.

We do not receive or store your Google password. We do not post to your Google account. You can remove WePlacement's access from your Google Account settings. Doing so stops future Google sign-in; it does not by itself delete the profile already stored on WePlacement. To delete that profile, use the request process in section 8.

4. Payments through Razorpay

Subscription and service-fee payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited (“Razorpay”). When you pay, card, UPI, net-banking, or wallet details are collected by Razorpay on its own pages or checkout, under Razorpay's privacy policy. We receive a limited record back from Razorpay, such as whether the payment succeeded, the amount, a payment or subscription identifier, and the payment method label Razorpay provides.

We use that record to activate or renew a subscription, issue invoices, and handle billing support. We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking password.

5. How we use personal data

To create and secure accounts, including email codes and Google sign-in.
To publish jobs, receive applications, and share an application with the recruiting agency for that role.
To operate agency subscriptions, placements, and customer support.
To detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
To meet legal, tax, and accounting duties, including records of payments.

We do not sell candidate resumes or personal data to data brokers. An unredacted candidate profile is shared with the agency or employer connected to a role when the candidate applies, or when the candidate has asked to be represented.

6. Who we share data with

Recruitment agencies and employers, to the extent needed to process an application or a hiring mandate.
Razorpay, for payment processing.
Google, when you choose Google sign-in.
Infrastructure and email providers that host the service or deliver sign-in and notification email, under instructions from us.
Authorities, when Indian law requires us to disclose information.

7. Storage and security

Personal data is stored on secured systems used to run WePlacement. Access is limited to people who need it for their work. Data sent between your browser and WePlacement is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure; we maintain reasonable security practices as required under the Information Technology Act and the SPDI Rules.

We keep account, application, and billing records for as long as the account is active and for the period needed for recruitment operations, invoices, tax, and dispute handling. When a record is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete or de-identify it.

8. Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act and other applicable Indian law, you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold, correct inaccurate data, or erase data that we are not required to keep. Candidates can update profile details from their account. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email support@weplacement.com. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you before we act on it.

You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place, and it may mean we can no longer provide the related service (for example, we cannot process an application without the resume you submitted).

9. Cookies

We use cookies that are required to keep you signed in and to protect the site. Optional analytics cookies are described in our cookie policy.

10. Changes and contact

We will post updates on this page and change the effective date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you have seen the revised policy.
